“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” Romans 8:35

Paul asks a penetrating question here. He implies nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. He even mentions things could attempt to do so: trouble or hardship persecution, famine or nakedness, danger or sword. He comes to the conclusion nothing will be able to separate us “from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom. 8:39).
God loves us! This truth gives us comfort, strength and encouragement. It is a fact God’s love surrounds us, but many people do not experience it because they erect barriers against it. Break down those barriers so we may experience God’s love in our life daily!
