To take all that we are and have and hand it over to God may not be easy; but it can be done; and when it is done, the world has in it one less candidate for misery.

“He granted their request because they trusted in Him.” 1 Chronicles 5:20 HCSB

Sometimes we forget to slow ourselves down long enough to talk with God. Instead of turning our thoughts and prayers to Him, we rely on our own resources. Instead of praying for strength and courage, we try to manufacture it within ourselves. Instead of asking God for guidance, we depend only on our own limited wisdom. The results of such behaviors are usually unfortunate and on occasion, tragic. If you are in need, ask God to sustain you. If you are troubled, take your worries to Him in prayer. If you are weary, seek His strength. In all things great and small, seek His wisdom and grace. He hears your prayers, and He will answer; all you have to do is ask.

May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. May those who love your salvation say evermore, ‘God is great.’” Psalm 70:4

Some days we may struggle with how to pray for others, especially if they’re facing challenging circumstances. We want God’s will to be accomplished because we know ultimately it will be best for them. Yet, we don’t want them to experience hardship. What do we do?

Pray whatever God’s plan is for them so they will trust Him more through it, and they will find joy and strength in Him and seek Him daily. Pray they will know for certain that He is great, loving, and wise! Whatever our loved ones are facing, our best prayer for them is they would know Him better! May all who seek our Father rejoice and say for evermore God is truly good!

Your life is to be lived in such a way as to reflect Him, to show the world the character of God- His love, His peace, His mercy, His gentleness. You are to live for Him, to accomplish His will. To miss this purpose is to miss fulfillment.

“An evil man is trapped by his sinful talk, but a righteous man escapes trouble.” Proverbs 12:13

Our mouths can sure get us into trouble, can’t they! This is especially true for some whose heart is tainted by evil. Talk reveals so much about our interior life, and an evil person has a lot to hide! Which brings us to ourselves. What does our talk reveal about us? Does it help us escape trouble or does it reveal festering evil in our souls? Or, does it reveal the Light of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit? Hmm….

May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pure and holy in your sight, Lord God….Let’s ask for the Lord to purify our spirit, our heart and our body to serve Him in righteousness. He can give us the strength we need to speak the words which come from our mouth that reveal He is in charge of our lives!

In His Love, Do All You Can, While You Can, As Long As You Can, To All You Can….Have a Beautifully Blessed Day!
