To the optimist, the simple things in life are a constant source of joy, spontaneous laughter, the bright rays of the sun and the sounds of the birds in the trees. People who count their blessings are extremely happy. Even in their darkest moments they maintain a spirit of hope and optimism, because they know things will work out well.

The more we count our blessings, the more it seems God pours them out upon our life. Our hearts will overflow with gratitude for God’s amazing love. When life becomes a burden and it seems so very dark around us, recalling our blessings is a sure way to keep a healthy perspective of God’s love toward us!
