"Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
Through the years this passage has come to be known as The Great Commission and is often used at mission conferences to try to motivate people to take up missionary service. It certainly leaves no doubt as to what is important to Jesus. The command is plain, He wants all nations to know Him and follow Him. Jesus Christ wants all nations to be taught to obey God. These verses leave no doubt as to how we should be spending our time. The assurance at the end is wonderful - God is with us! We never have to feel we're working alone. In His Love, Do All You Can, While You Can, As Long As You Can, To All You Can….Have a Beautifully Blessed Day! Comments are closed.
