“May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not consider Jerusalem my highest joy.” Psalm 137:6
When God’s people went into captivity in Babylon, they kept their hopes up by remembering their capital city of Jerusalem. Thoughts of returning to Jerusalem motivated them to persevere and not succumb to despair. When we lose sight of our dreams, our life can become drudgery. If we are struggling today, we may have forgotten the vision God has given us; we should never get so discouraged by our circumstances that we disregard God’s promises. Whenever we lose our passion for life, realize it’s either because we have stopped pursuing our dreams or because we have forgotten it is God who empowers us to achieve them! In His Love, Do All You Can, While You Can, As Long As You Can, To All You Can….Have a Beautifully Blessed Day! Comments are closed.
