“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped, my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.” Psalm 28:7
The psalms are all about trusting in God. That’s because they were written by real people who had real emotions about real struggles. When they cried out to the living God, He truly helped them and vindicate their faith in Him. Though the psalms are beautiful and poetic, they are the authentic feelings and experiences of people just like you. Just as the psalmists trusted in God and saw His victorious provision, so can you. Whatever you are facing today, there is most likely a psalm that echoes your emotions and its conclusion is most likely this: trust God. The psalmists did, and you should too. Comments are closed.
