“The wise don’t tell everything they know but the foolish talk too much and are ruined.” Proverbs 10:14 NCV
All too often, in the rush to have ourselves heard, we speak first and think next…with unfortunate results. If we seek to be a source of encouragement to friends and family, then we must measure our words carefully. Words are important; they can hurt or heal, uplift us or discourage us, and reckless words, spoken in haste, cannot be erased. Measure your words carefully. Use words of kindness and praise, not words of anger or derision. Remember that you have the power to heal others or to injure them, to lift others up or to hold them back. When you lift them up, your wisdom will bring healing and comfort to a world that needs both. Amen! Be Blessed Today! ‘You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.’ 2 Corinthians 9:11
As we examine our blessings and give thanks to God for His wonderful grace, let's ask why God has blessed us so much; and remember the primary spiritual principle which God made clear in today's Scripture and also in His call to Abraham in Genesis 12:2: God's people are blessed to be a blessing. Let's make sure we are not just recipients of God's blessings. Let's commit to be the way of those blessings to others. In His Love, Do All You Can, While You Can, As Long As You Can, To All You Can….Have a Beautifully Blessed Day! |
