“May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not consider Jerusalem my highest joy.” Psalm 137:6
When God’s people went into captivity in Babylon, they kept their hopes up by remembering their capital city of Jerusalem. Thoughts of returning to Jerusalem motivated them to persevere and not succumb to despair. When we lose sight of our dreams, our life can become drudgery. If we are struggling today, we may have forgotten the vision God has given us; we should never get so discouraged by our circumstances that we disregard God’s promises. Whenever we lose our passion for life, realize it’s either because we have stopped pursuing our dreams or because we have forgotten it is God who empowers us to achieve them! In His Love, Do All You Can, While You Can, As Long As You Can, To All You Can….Have a Beautifully Blessed Day! “The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver, tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” Psalm 12:6
It’s often been said that words cannot injure like a rock or a stick could, but the truth is that sometimes they wound you in a manner that’s far more dangerous. While physical abrasions heal, abrasions made by words can pierce the heart and fester. Years after you’ve forgotten they were said, abrasive words can cripple you in ways you don’t even realize. Yet God knows they’re there, and He looks upon you with compassion. He sends His Word to heal you, to root out the wounding words and restore you. Other people may hurt you with their words but God never will. Trust Him and allow His Word to do its uplifting work in your life “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10
Every day is a gift from the loving hand of God, and we can only live life to the fullest when we surrender to His purpose for our life. Achieving our purpose in life depends on our relationship with Christ. If our life has a spiritual foundation, it must also have a spiritual goal. It is by acknowledging the truth and applying it in our own life; we are guaranteed complete deliverance, joy and fulfillment. The future belongs to us; it is ours through Jesus Christ! Only then can we utilize God’s precious gift of living life to the fullest each and every day! In His Love, Do All You Can, While You Can, As Long As You Can, To All You Can….Have a Beautifully Blessed “He brought me out to a wide-open place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.” Psalm 18:19
Some days you’ll wonder how you got to where you are, completely entangled in the strong cords of duty and difficulty. You’ve been following God, and you can’t understand why He’d allow the weight of your burdens to crush you in such a way. You feel that if another problem comes to you that you’ll break. Don’t despair! God hemmed you in for a reason. He’s bringing you into a place of freedom, but first He must teach you to trust Him for Today! Stop worrying about the future and focus on honoring God with the task that’s in front of you. He loves you and will set you free; only trust Him. “Blessed be the Lord your God who delighted in you.” 1 Kings 10:9
God is for us. Always remember that. God is for us. Remember that tomorrow morning when you don’t feel like He is. Remember that when you have failed Remember that when you have sinned and guilt slams you to the mat. God is for you. “The Lord will hear when I call to Him.” Psalm 4:3
In the silence of the night when your household lies quietly resting, sometimes difficult thoughts will prevail in your mind. Perhaps you’ve been careful not to voice your concerns with others because you didn’t want to worry them. But in that desolate moment you are alone with your struggles, and you hope someone could share them with you and comfort you; God hears you. He is with you, with His ear always bent toward you, waiting for you to invite Him into your situation. You don’t have to go on feeling alone. Call out to God and tell Him your concerns. Let God comfort you; He’s always ready to listen. Thank you Father God for your Omnipresence! |
